Farm life quilt, 1932

Nettie McColive (nee Huppatz) won first prize at the 1932 September Royal Show in Adelaide with this quilt. She was 17 years of age and the prize was three pounds. Nettie lived on a farm 250 km north of Adelaide and collected the quilt patterns from a weekly feature in the Adelaide Chronicle.
