Tank Stream

Description
The Tank Stream was the original water supply for the early settlement at Sydney Cove. So-called because of the holding 'tanks' dug by convicts along its course, the stream is depicted on early maps of the settlement. Today, the Tank Stream still flows through drains under the City of Sydney.
