Castle Hill

Description
Castle Hill, north of Parramatta, New South Wales, was the site of an Irish convict uprising in 1804. The rebels converged on Castle Hill Government Farm and were met by troops of the New South Wales Corps. The area was later the site of the first mental asylum in the colony.
