Jack 'Dutchy' Holland was a rugby league player for St George Rugby League Football Club, and was selected for the Australian representative Kangaroo tour of England in 1948-1949. A national rugby league side has represented Australia in international test matches ever since the establishment of New South Wales Rugby League and Queensland Rugby League governing bodies in 1908.
