AE Smith Instruments collection
Recordings from a concert by renowned Australian cellist David Pereira, playing one of the National Museum’s most treasured instruments, the cello made by AE Smith in Sydney in 1953. Pereira performs his own compositions and works by Bach and Sculthorpe in a concert which also features harpist Alice Gile and a history of the AE Smith string quartet.
