Summary

Robyn Davidson talks about her lifelong interest in nomadism in a conversation with desert archaeologist Dr Mike Smith.

Robyn reflects on her 1977 journey through the Australian desert, 30 years after she walked from Alice Springs to the Western Australian coast.

More recently, Robyn has travelled with nomads in India, China and Tibet.

In this talk Robyn explains her fascination with nomadic cultures and the increasing difficulties faced by those who live outside the modern state.
