Audience research

The National Museum is interested in studying particular age groups and other audience segments to find out how they relate to museums in general and the National Museum in particular.

Three recent audience research projects, carried out in partnership with the Australian Museum, Sydney, focused on different audiences.

The 2002 report on older Australians, Energised, engaged, everywhere: Older Australians and museums is now out of print but the full text is available on the Australian Museum website.
